Description
Although Garnet comes in a virtual rainbow of colors, including pink, red, purple, orange, yellow, violet, brown and many shades of red and green, the best known Garnet is translucent, red to deep red. Garnets were so called by the ancient Greeks since color reminded them of the pomegranate seed or granatum. The garnet is considered to be the birthstone for January. Unless otherwise stated, these beads are made from natural gemstones. The size of each bead is around 6-8mm and each strand is 16" long. They are sold per 16" strand.
Please note that size and length are approximate and there may be small difference in actual measurement because most of these beads are mannually cut and strung.
