This is AA grade natural Sugilate beads. Please note that there are a lot of dyed (or color-enhanced) Sugilite beads in the market. But the Sugilite beads we carry are genuine semi-precious gemstone, not treated in any way. Sugilite is a genuine semiprecious gemstone with an opaque purple to black color. It is named after Ken-ichi Sugi, who first discovered this gemstone in 1944. The use of Sugilite has been becoming wildspread in the jewelry making industry. Unless otherwise stated, these beads are made from natural gemstones. The size of each bead is around 5x12mm and each strand is 16" long. They are sold per 16" strand.
Please note that size and length are approximate and there may be small difference in actual measurement because most of these beads are mannually cut and strung.
